Susan Ponder, Owner/Director
Susan Ponder is the owner/director of Winning Edge Employment Services. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and has also completed work towards a master's in special education in the area of behavior management and documentation. Susan has over 30 years of experience in the corporate, special education and employment service venues. She is a dedicated advocate for persons having disabilities and utilizes a “whatever it takes” philosophy to ensure that the clients with whom she and her staff work are always successful. It is Susan's priority to ensure that all services and supports provided by Winning Edge Employment Services are individualized, choice-driven, culturally sensitive and designed to promote inclusion.
Amy Fish, Business Development Consultant
Amy Fish joined Winning Edge as Business Development Consultant in 2016. Amy brings over 30 years of marketing experience to the team. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri, and is the owner/founder of Jaguar Artists Management. Amy also serves as VP of Business Development for the Night of Superstars charitable organization which honors youth with disabilities and provides them with scholarship opportunities.
Genna Sanders, Employment Specialist/Vocational Trainer
Genna Sanders joined Winning Edge in 2016 as Employment Specialist/Vocational Trainer. She has extensive experience as a transition specialist where she provided vocational training and coordinated job placement for high school students. Genna is an expert in the field of special education having over 14 years of experience. Her educational background includes an MA in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Houston - Clear Lake and a BS in Psychology from Texas A&M University - Commerce.
Wes Yates, Job Coach
Wesley Yates joined Winning Edge as a Job Coach in 2017. Wes formerly served in the Marines for nine years and brings strong leadership and mentoring skills to the team. His role as a Marine Recruiter provided him with substantial experience coaching and developing young men and women. He also mentored disabled Veterans and assisted them with finding employment. Wes played a key role as a volunteer with Toys for Tots where he worked to raise money to support the financial needs of families dealing with a pediatric cancer diagnosis. Wes is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Texas - Tyler and plans to follow with a master’s degree.
Bonnie Culpepper, Job Coach
Bonnie Culpepper joined the Winning Edge team as an Employment Specialist in 2015. She is the primary job coach/trainer for the TISD student interns currently participating in the Project SEARCH - Tyler job training program at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System. Bonnie has extensive retail management experience which she utilizes to ensure our clients obtain the hard and soft skills they will need to be successful in the workplace. Prior to starting her retail career, Bonnie attended the University of Houston and Tyler Junior College.
